According to The National Coalition Against Domestic Violence 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men have experienced some form of physical abuse by an intimate partner. But domestic violence is not just defined by physical abuse – domestic violence can come in the form of verbal, emotional, cultural, or financial abuse as well.

Any form of domestic violence can be dangerous and traumatic for the victim as well as the children or other people in the home. Although it may feel overwhelming to do so, it is imperative to seek protection and safety from your abuser, especially if the abuse is affecting children. As attorneys, our job is to support you in doing so. We strive to provide resources and assistance to victims and people who believe they are at risk of experiencing domestic violence.
