
Chosen as a 2025 “Super Lawyer,” Attorney Beth M. Nussbaum provides negotiation-based representation to parties in divorce and other family law matters in uncontested matters and before the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts. Attorney Nussbaum also helps clients craft family law solutions privately and without escalation of conflict as a highly experienced mediator and certified collaborative attorney. In addition, she has appeared regularly as appellate counsel of record in numerous published and unpublished decisions issued by the Massachusetts Appeals Court and Supreme Judicial Court dealing with custodial issues. Attorney Nussbaum has contributed to publications and training seminars offered by the Committee for Public Counsel Services (CPCS) Children and Family Law (CAFL) division.
Attorney Nussbaum earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.M. from the Juilliard School. Her prior employment includes the following: Senior Associate, Smith Lee Nebenzahl LLP, Mentor Member of the CPCS-CAFL Panel, Associate, Lurie and Krupp LLP, Associate, Seiller and Handmaker, and Member, CPCS Post-Conviction Panel. Attorney Nussbaum is Admitted to the Massachusetts Bar, United States District Court of Massachusetts, International Academy of Collaborative Professionals, Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council, and the Massachusetts Council on Family Law Mediation.
Ms. Nussbaum lives in Sharon, Massachusetts. In addition to her law practice, Ms. Nussbaum is a former professional classical violinist and continues to play chamber music throughout the Boston area. She also enjoys cooking, cycling, gardening, hiking, reading, word games, and spending time with family and friends.
